A 6 days long trek starts from Kathmandu following a flight to Lukla and then 2 days trek up to Tengboche via Namche Bazar. You will trek through the rhododendron, pine and birch forest crossing the river Dudhkoshi and its tributaries several times. Passing by many scattered settlements of Phakding village you will trek up to Namche Bazar.
Namche Bazar is a gateway to mount Everest, the Sherpa town offers numerous hotels and mountain lodges with stunning mountain views. After exploring Namche you will trek further to Tengboche crossing the river and passing by dense rhododendron forest. Along the trail your guide will enrich your experience with interesting stories and facts about the region. From Tengboche you can get the very close view of mont Everest, Lhotse and Amadablam. You will explore Tengboche monastery and follow your guide to the hidden view points from where you can get amazing views of mountains, rivers and alpine forest. After spending a day experiencing the natural paradise in Tengboche you will trek back to Namche followed by trekking back to Lukla. From Lukla you will take a flight back to Kathmandu on sixth day.
